One thing that helped was that I completed a Student Loan Rehab program, and I waited 60 days after the loan went back with the original lender to see the results. I am happy...could be happier:

* Equifax: 663 increased to 669 June to August 2008 (I hate EQ...why such a small jump?)

* Experian went from 605 to 668. Now that's more like it...but I hate all the CRAs!

I have high hopes that the baddies I have left that I can do something about will go away. I have a fraud investigation that I expect will delete an Original Creditor account, plus the related CA account...that will count as two baddies off, I hope.

Does anyone know what to do about a judgement on my file that I never saw before, for which I was not served, and know nothing about? The COURT isn't even listed on there. It's madness.

Thanks. Good luck to all.

Congrats on the increase.

As for the judgment........are you looking at reports directly from the CRA? If no courts is listed, check to see if your state has online court records. Have you moved within the last 7 or so years?

The first step is to find out who the judgment was from and what court it was filed in.

Congrats! You give me hope for my BF who just entered into a rehab program. His scores took a 60+ point dive across the board when the rehab tradelines reported for the first time. He's got 7 months left and I'm hoping once they change the status to positive and they go back to the original lender, he'll get those points back!

sidewinder...no, i'm looking at score reports from myfico...good point on that. but this also means i should just go order my full reports again from the CRAs directly, to see what they're reporting. i'm surprised i didn' t see this judgement last time i was looking at the actual CRA reports sometime last year.

even if i do figure out where the judgment came from...what is there even to do about that? petition the court to vacate it, for improper service, at a minimum??

i have not moved in just over 10 years.
