OMG!!! Macy's store card and Chase Amazon Visa Recon amazing luck and approval!!!!

I have a fraud alert on my credit report and for some reason Experian took my number off of it. So this week after contacting them, I was able to fax them my identification and they added my new statement and number. So then I call Macy's back, explain that this is what was missing, so they go back, first he tells me they'll need to do another hard inquiry, so I put up a slight fuss, and he went back, checked the report, called the number, verified me, and approved! Ok, sure, it's a low limit, but the whole idea is approval and rebuilding. Today, I get a letter from Chase that they denied my app for an Amazon Visa because of too many inquiries. So I called the recon line, talked to this really nice rep, joked, flirted, etc, I explained that if she saw my fraud alert she would see it says that 75% of those inquiries are fraud and trying to have removed. After going through 15 minutes on the phone with her verifying everything she tells me she can put it through for $1500 limit but still needs to transfer me to another department for 2nd verification. Ok, another 5 minutes, more ID questions, this tiime totally different than the first, this rep says ok, she will now submit it for reconsideration approval and I should hear from them within 7-10 days. Ok, fine. I can deal with that, although at that point I was assuming denial. Move foraward 30 minutes later, get an e-mail from Amazon, "Congratulations on your new Chase Amazon Visa it's been added to your Amazon account".......HOLY COW!!! I don't need to apply for any more cards. I have had my Cap One Mastercard since last Jul 12, within the last 2 weeks I got Walmart, Amazon Store, American Eagle, and now the Macy's and Chase Visa........WOW!!!! This forum is awesome and thanks for all the knowledgeable people here and those handy recon numbers!!!

Thanks!! It's been a long process, but you get good rewards when you follow through and keep up good payment history and don't over extend yourself. ;-)
