Judgement satisfied! Question about "discharged of record" statement

I settled a judgement (55% from LVNV). I paid it Monday and got my letter today sayin it has been satisfied. They attorney's office also sent with that a copy of the doc they sent to th court. It says the statement "Full and complete satisfaction of judgement and costs in this case is hereby acknowledged and said judgeme is satisfied, released, and discharged of record". Does discharge of record mean it will no longer be on public records and that public record entry on my CR will be gone? I did ask them while settling if they would file a motion to vacate and they said they do not do that. I called the court and the lady said I could write a letter to the judge asking to vacate it???

To be discharge would mean it never existed. I have never heard that terminology.

At any rate, if they won't file a motion to vacate, do what the court advised, write a letter to the judge and ask that it be vacated.

I am in Nebraska. Yeah, the discharged off record threw me off too!
