DEJA VU ALL OVER AGAIN...

Hi signguy17

For the past week Score Watch has been monitoring your FICO® Score and credit report for important changes. According to your alert settings, no changes were found.

Really??? Having (4) 30 lates fall off in March. EQ even aged off a SunTrust acct with a 30 late on it. Plus I've been keeping my util down (last month I did let it spike because I thought my new CU CC would help but it didnt even report so I lost 4 point because I was at 50% util. That's now back to about 5% left on the balance on purpose..... AND I CAN'T EVEN GET A BREAK!! or a bump in this case.. Been over 2 months ince I've had a positive bump.

Evidently old lates aging off have no bearing on your score nor does making your payments on time. But you miss one and they'll drop you 50 points. I've even sent 5 GWs last week but I haven't heard from them yet...

The FICO Gods don't like me.....

Do you have the alert setttings set at or 1 point above your current score?

the best is to set your alert settings to the present score like this you get an alert if it changes no matter in which direction...just lost 11 points but got them back two weeks later. try to always set it on the actual score for best results for score alerts...good luck

yep my setting is at 642 qnd my present score is 646. My CapOne is due tomorrow but I have a 0 balance where it was 256/500cli.. They report of the 11th so I should (damn well better) have a bump by Thursday or I'm gonna be ticked!

You need to change your setting to 646 then. That way even one point will notify you.

yes always set it to your present score for optimal results on SW alerts - 646 as starry1 mentioned, after next change set it agai on that figure...and so on

Im sorry...I forgot...the FICO gods struck me down last month for the CapOne account balance. So my score is 641 and that is where my alert is set.

I just checked the FICO Similator and it said that paying off the $246 balance to 0 in one month would result in an increase from 681-721. Soooo this time next weekend I will be at 681-721!! That's a 40-80 bump!! I think I will show this to my attorney just in case it doesn't happen! I think on the grounds of "Alienation of affections" because I would love to get my fix...errrrrr......I mean bump on!!

good that your alert settings are on the actual score. I truly hope the simulator works better for you than for me.

You will take a ding for a new account and a ding if it reports with a balance due right off the bat, but cap 1 is down to 10.00 and new account should report so you should see something, also dont forget the new buckets we can get put into. The score simulator is like a CK score...pffff nice thing to toy with!!

Old lates dropping off have little impact on the score compared to getting a recent 30 day late removed where its still a fresh ding.

Thanks!! I think it had to do with getting older.. like me!! I am thinking by time I think of reaching 700 I will be sitting in the bucket with wheeels and a remote!! My cards will be really aged by then lol!
