My husband sent a DV letter out about 2 weeks ago and got a response today - they are going to delete! It was a $700 cable bill that he probably did owe (he won't admit it). But yay! The CA is IC Systems so let's see how many months it takes them to delete...

I hope I have your success. After asking around about whether I should DV or PFD a certain account I ended up DV'ing because I heard of many stories of this company just deleting. It is old and for a measly amount of money anyway. If it falls off without paying, good enough for me.

They came off relatively fast for me.
