HSBC Finally DELETED!!!!!

After 4 months of fighting with these losers they finally lost. They had a payment posted of $393.00 on a $487 charge-off. Told the rep if in face I made this payment the Charge-Off should've only been $94 So going back and forth for months PRA had it, I disputed the payment with them and they deleted cause they couldn't verify the payment made. I called back HSBC they couldn't tell me where the payment came from so they deleted the TL off of TU and EQ BUT not EX. I had Experian on the phone with me this morning to HSBC. The rep from Experian told HSBC if in fact you sent all 3 CRA's a UDF to delete do to non sufficient information how is it TransUnion and Equifax deleted but we never recieve the UDF? The rep from HSBC put us on hold and came back and said it was denied by another department in HSBC. The rep did some investigating and told me when the call ends don't hang up. He told me he is going to delete it based on lies from HSBC. He shoots he scores!!!!

So I looked at my Exp report and I see this in my HSBC record:

Balance History - The following data will appear in the following format:
account balance / date payment received / scheduled payment amount / actual amount paid
Jan 2011: $555 / May 17, 2010 / no data / no data
Dec 2010: $555 / May 17, 2010 / no data / no data
Nov 2010: $542 / May 17, 2010 / $26 / no data
Oct 2010: $528 / May 17, 2010 / $26 / no data
Sep 2010: $515 / May 17, 2010 / $25 / no data

I'm not sure how to interpert this.

Looks like it was charged-off in May of 2010?? I can't tell without looking at the actual TL

A big Yay! to you. Can I ask, were you actually dealing with HSBC or Cap 1?. I have a different situation. I had HSBC with the credit protection. They denied that I had it, and then they were sold to Cap 1 so I am now dealing with Cap 1. They however, want to only discuss on the phone and not in writing. Seriously. Not gonna happen.

How did you get them to agree to let you pay the CO?

I have a CO from years ago and they just tell me I'm SOL (and I don't mean Statute of limitations)

HSBC, Capital One has yet to convert all the accounts over to their system.

I never paid the charge-off. They claimed I made a payment of $393 back in 4/06 I said no I didn't. They had the CO listed as $472. I said that doesn't make sense cause $472-$393=$94.00 which should be the CO. They can't even tell me what form of payment they received lol. They sold the account to PRA back in 2010. I disputed with PRA they deleted cause they had no idea where the payment came from. So I go back to HSBC they deleted the TL from TU and EQ but refused to delete from EX. It was a good morning when I heard the rep tell me they are playing games and lying so he deleted. I just received the confirmation e-mail and an updated credit report. They are history!!!!!

See they shot my acocunt to Sunrise and I paid them off (the CA), and here the other day i had the CA removed from my CR. However, i'm trying to think of crafty ways to get my HSBC CO off my CR.

HSBC is killing me right now. I notified them before I deployed that I was going to be gone, I gave them a forwarding address and they put me in collections and a charge off while I was deployed. I have been trying to get them to use the SCRA for it but they are refusing to budge because it has been turned over to Capital One. When I call them I have to go through 5 connections before getting someone. The last time they finally gave me a fax number to send my dispute documentation. If this does not work I am going to get a lawyer.

I have a consumer attorney, he said I could handle it myself. I told him if I ran into a road block he will be used LOL....I did it on my own. Now I know what he goes through on a daily basis. He said congrats to me for doing fine work lol. My weekend is starting off great.

So how does a person know if they are with Cap 1 yet? When i e mailed Cap 1 they responded but when I told them that I would only communicate in writing they stop communicating. Then I communicated that I was getting an attorney.

They will know by the account #.
