Collection Removal Success!

So I worked for an insurance company at the end of 2008 for only 90 days - we were temporary for 90 days, and if you did well enough, they offered full-time at the end of 90 days. I hated it, and when my 90 days were up, I declined the full-time offer. Well apparently a few of my clients canceled their policies within the first year, and my company tried to issue a chargeback for the commission I made on those policies, and then sic'd a baddie on me afterwards.

In effort to clean up my credit report, I DV'd the CA - Stuart Allan & Assoc out of Tucson, AZ.

I DV'd them on April 24, 2013 (CMRR). I got my green card back (also tracked it online), and then the next day, I got a letter from them:

April 30, 2013

To: [Me]

Re: Credit Report

Our Client: [Insurance Company]

Our file number: [XXXXXXXXX]

The above referenced client has cancelled this account from our office. We have notified the credit bureaus to delete this item from your profile.

If you have any questions, feel free to call me.

YAY! So happy!

In case anyone was wondering, I used a simple typed DV letter that said:

To Whom It May Concern:

I recently pulled a copy of my credit report and noticed that you claim I owe a debt to you. Per FCRA, please send me validation of this debt.

[signed] [dated]

Well then that's more good news for me! I DV'd IC Systems at the same time. Keeping my fingers crossed.
