Score Update

Well, my Cap1 cards (2) are starting to finally report after being open for 2 months now. As I thought, Experian was first to update this morning, and was nice to see a 33 point increase in my EX FAKO. Up to 609. I logged into MyFico account to see about my Equifax report and use my last free scorepower and EQ hasn't updated yet....Oh well! Thinking I had wasted it, I did notice that EQ took OFF my satisfied Judgment!! WOOHOO! Score is still the same, but who cares that is off that report. Usually, TU and EQ were about a day or 2 behind updating CR *EX* the fastest.

It will update then it will be time to relish in the increase b/c you know it will be across the board. Sit back and Smile at least for 30 seconds today ok?

They removed it, I didn't really do anything. That I know of.

Thanks Myjourney.....I am not sure if you have SW, but when you do get a score watch alert/email/text.....Does it give you the reasons for it? and show what is helping/hurting your score? Kind of like when you pull your full report on here.

Thanks again....I am really hoping for a 15-25 jump in FICO when they hit.....The biggest bump, I think/hope will come when Sallie Mae removes 21 Lates from there 7 TL this month.

In everyone's experiance, how long did it take for something to update on your EQ and TU after updates on your report. (Like credit card statement). I know I am impatient, lol but still no SW alert yet.

I believe it really varies Delta, I know that usually for my Capital One card, it hits TU like 2 or 3 days after the statement date. I believe it depends upon when the companies decide to report to the CRAs. When they report, it appears on your reports in 24 hours or less I think.

Good Call bud! Cap1 sent over my stuff to the CB on the 24th, *day after statement cut* and it hit EX yesterday (25th), it looks like TU and EQ takes a day or 2 after that. I guess that makes sense, because for me, when things were being updated/removed whatever....EX was the quickest, then EQ and TU were like 2-3 days after. I am hoping I get a SW alert here over the next day or so....

Nice. Good going. Good luck to you. Keep doing what you are doing and your scores will be to 700 soon. Just be patient and stay on track. It is a long term strategy with the most difficult ingredient being staying consistant over time so just stick with it.

You know exactly what to do now to have great credit... Just have to wait now and hit your points and do the right things at the right times. It just takes a bit of time. It seems like a long time but in the grand scheme of things it is not and well worth it.
