myfico.com/12 Reason Codes???

I just pulled my myfico.com/12 and noticed the for my EQ report, reason code 30 (new accts) was listed second. Does any one know if that code would go away if I paid off that account? Please advise.

Nope-

The new account ding can stay there for upto a year.

If this is the #2 reason code- I am suprised you are using the /12 link. This was designed for people post BK.

ok...i can't resist. what is the cookie question? I've already deleted my cookies after visiting the site.

I can't believe I'd be dinged for opening one account and PIFing in one month. I have no others -- especially when I read about people with 19 inquiries, and a zillion new cards. They have 700+ scores. AMAZING!!! This FICO thing is making me pull my hairout! UGH!!! I'll be bald with a great score someday.

PS I only did the 12 thing because someone posted it here. I'm not post BK. I have high util, which I'm working on. Hopefully I'll be rebucketed and then the one won't count so much????

When I first went to the site, I couldn't figure out where they placed the cookie. I tried to target it specifically but had to clear out IE instead. I predict some will post asking why myFICO changed their website.

I wish I had known about /12 before I pulled my scores the traditional way... although I can guess what my reason codes are... lates, lates, and more lates!!!

Here I am...lol. So I cleared my cookies and still when I go to myfico.com/12 it redirects me to the regular myfico website. I am using Firefox. Could this be why?
