I received this response from Credit One Bank after emailing them a goodwill letter, hopefully something good will come from it:

This office has received your request and is currently reviewing. We will provide you with a written response. We are unable to do so via email at this time.

If you have any questions during this review, please contact me at the telephone number listed below.

We are available from Monday through Friday, from 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Pacific Time.

Good Luck!! Not sure what your GW was for, but I mailed them a GW request to remove 2 late payments from 2011 and got a letter back declining to do so.

If you do have luck and get an actual contact instead of a general letter can you send me the contact info? all i had was a general address and not someone specifically

Update: Tonight I received a voicemail from the person who responded to my email. She stated that after review of my file that their tradeline would be removed from all three credit bureaus and it would take a few days. woooooooohoooooooooo success!!

What email address did you use and what did you include in your Goodwill letter? I have had zero success sending goodwills letters to Credit One Bank via snail mail.

Finally, Received the letter stating that they would remove my TL from all CRA woohoo.

Now only TWO left HSBC (Best Buy) now Capital One and American Honda Finance to go!!! Then it is gardening time woohooo!

Just wanted to let you know I had recent success with HSBC (now CapOne) and American Honda Finance. HSBC was a charged off. I just sent a letter to the address in my CR (the name was HSBC but the address was CapOne) asking them to provide more details on the debt. I received a letter stating that the tradelines were being deleted. American Honda Finance was a harder nut to crack. First, I sent them GW letters to remove one 30 day late for months but I kept receiving the normal 'we are reporting correctly' letters. I then started to fax them the GW when that didn't work I emailed about 5 excecutives at Honda and one day the 30 day late disappeared. I never received a letter, email or any communication from them that the 30 late would be removed. If you need any information, pm me.
