Receivables Management Systems (Collection Agency)

I have a good contact for Receivables Management Systems if anyone needs it.

My husband had a medical collection for Patient First that was reporting an old account to all 3 CRAs that had been paid for sometime. I disputed this account through each CRA's website and all 3 came back verified. Next, I tried the Pre-HIPAA letter, and only TU deleted the account. Instead of sending the follow-uo HIPAA letter and having to wait another 30 days, I tried looking for an email address for anyone at the collection agency. It seems no one on MyFICO has had any experience with this particular CA, so I assume they're extremely small and probably local to Virginia, because the OC is located in Hampton Roads and the CA's office is located in Richmond. I finally was able to find the CEO or President's name through google and then I set out to find a website.

I emailed the wrong Receivables Management at first. They were also a collection agency (go figure), but they were very polite and helpful. I finally found the website of the Receivables Managemet I was looking for: http://www.rmscollect.com

It took a few tries, but I finally was able to figure out the company's email address structure. After a few tries and a few emails that bounced back as undeliverable, I received a read-receipt, and within a day, the CEO replied to my email saying that he read my email, he would contact the OC to get their approval to delete, and that he would get back to me. Within 3-4 days, he emailed to tell me that the OC has agreed to let them to delete the account, he mailed us a letter saying that they were submitting a request to delete, and the account disappeared from my husband's credit files the following day - even before we received the letter saying they were deleting in the mail.
