walmart doesn't report AU?

I added my husband to my walmart card and it has not reported yet. I called walmart to ask if it would report on his credit and the customer service man said no, that his credit will not show him as an AU.

Is this right??

Subsquent searches online indicate it should report but could take several months.

I could be wrong but I don't think that they have to report it on the AU's CR.

I have a Home Depot card that my husband is an AU on and it does report. However, I am an AU on a Loft (comenity) card and it does not report on my CRs.

No, they don't have to report an AU account. That is up to the creditor. But from reading threads on here and on Walmart site, it says they do report.

Wal-Mart reports AU accounts... Mine was reported to Transunion and Equifax.

They reported on my husbands. I app'ed on 6/4. Received the card in the mail 6/10 and added my husband as AU that night.

They reported on his Equifax on 6/18 and on Transunion on 6/22.

I app'ed 6/2 and added him the day I got my card. They report July 2nd, so I'm hopeful it will report his account then

i asked the same thing about 3 days before it did report to my AU credit. It took about 3 weeks for it to kick in.
