topic Should I fuss to get the ND (no data provided) changed to OK in Rebuilding Your Credit

So I started with a 674 score, but then some lates from Sallie Mae posted and I lost about 50 points. Sallie Mae had me to for two months of lates (earlier this year) although I had filed for a forbearance. So in working with a consumer advocate I FINALLY got the agreement to remove the two months of lates. Well, it took them a month to update, but the lates were removed. I had been waiting for a score bump because I figured I should get some of those points back when they fixed the reporting. Well as of today I didn't get a bump so I decided to check my credit report. Sallie Mae didn't update to OK, the reporting now is ND, which I am guessing isn't deemed positive enough to warrant a bump.

My question: Should I pester SM to update to OK or leave it alone? Will the OK status result in a bump?

As an aside, I had other negatives come off after the SM drop, so my score went up some, but I was thinking I would get back close to the amount of points I lost when they fixed it. So I was expecting to go to the 700 club with the correction.

Thanks!

ND is neither positive or negative. It means No Data was furnished. However, with the lates removed you should have seen a bump.

How long has the lates been gone and what are you using to monitor your scores?

Thanks for the response, guiness. I have myFICO SW and I also subscribe to FAKO sites (CreditKarma & Credit Sesame). None have revealed anything.

I am thinking it has only been a few days since the update to ND because when I check about two weeks ago the lates were still there. Should I give it another week to see if a bump occurs?

I just got the myFICO "no change detected" email today, which is what made me see what was going on.

Especially with SW, I would give it a week maybe. There seems to be a lag in score updates.
