I.C. SYSTEM TO DELETE!! NEXT STEP GURUS??

GOT MY LETTER FOR REMOVAL!! I emailed I.C. Syetems several times and sent 2 snail mail GW letters to no avail so I sent a complaint to the BBB that they were granting deletion requests for some and not for others. The BBB accepted my case and notified IC of my complaint.

Today I recieved a letter saying the usual that this debt was filed in the appropriate status as paid in full. "However, to resolve this matter I.C. System is making a business decision to instruct the national credit reporting agencies to delte any reference to this account from your credit file."

YAY ME!!! Now let's see how long it takes to get it off my file. I believe I read that if your have a letter of pending deletion that you can fax the letter to the Big 3 and they will go ahead and delete it post haste. I'll have to find out if that is in fact the case. I will post what I found out!!

MyFico GURUS.....your question is just that. Can I fax a copy of this letter of impending deletion for immediate deletion before they are contacted by the CA??

You can but it does not mean that the CRAs will delete based on that letter. 50/50 chance. Sometimes they will tell you they need to hear directly from the creditor.

Just checked my credit report on www.eliminateidtheft.com and my collection with I.C. System was deleted from EX and EQ. EX showed a FAKO score increase of 15 points. EQ has yet to respond in kind. TU is still showing. Let's see how long it takes SW to respond.....

Yes. Experian and EQ you can fax to. However TU, you have to mail a copy to them.

Yay!! Congrats!!! My IC System TL was removed almost instantly as well! At least within a week.

So great that you were finally able to beat them!
