I would start from scratch and pull a report directly from TU and/or annualcreditreport. I'd do so proceeding on the assumption that maybe the lender used an older inquiry.

I applied for a credit card and one of the reasons for denial was accounts in collections which isn't possible I currently have three cards all of which are paid current. I received a copy of my credit report and saw that an account that was once adverse that turned to satisfactory was now again adverse and has been labeled 120 days late. I called Transunion and spoke to them and they told me that their system was showing it as satisfactory as it should be. I kept trying to explain to them that the credit report that I received said otherwise and that the information has been updated since the change back in May. After arguing with the representative I asked if I could send them a copy of what I have received I fax it to them but it will take five days to process. The adverse account in question went into a satisfactory account back in May after the seven year limit was up this was the first time I checked my report since June. Can anyone tell me if this has happen to them before? And what should I do? TU is telling me that everything is fine but clearly the reports that are being sent to me and credit granters are incorrect.
