Collection - when will it delete from CR

I have a Time Warner Cable acct that went was turned over to Credit Protection Assoc for collection. EQ is showing DOLA as July 2002...acct was paid directly to OC in 2007. TU and EX not reporting DOLA. How long will this paid collection remain on my report? My last CR I pulled directly from EX states "this acct scheduled to continue on this report until Apr 2009." Trying to determine if I should GW to try to have it removed since it's paid or should I leave it be.

It will stay until 2009 sometime. It would not hurt to send a GW, all they can say is no.

As mentioned, GW. TU report pulled from TU will also have that drop off date.

2009 should be correct.
