Thank you Capital One EO!

The real thanks goes to the members of the myFico forums!! I recently emailed the Cap one executive office asking for a CLI, the very next day I got a phone call to verify income, and literally the day after that I check my account to see a $1500 CLI giving me a $2k limit!! I would never have known to do this if not for the information shared here by other users!! This should be a huge month for me credit wise and will hopefully I can get close to my 700 score within the next few months!

Started off the year with a depressing 562...I am now up to 648, before paying down my utl to 1% and the CLI! I can't wait til everything starts reporting!! Couldn't have done it without the help of you guiness and all of the other fico family!!

How long did you have your card before your emailed the EO?, what was your credit limit prior, if your dont mind sharing...ty

I got my card in April, so far I've had 5 billing statements of on time payments. My credit limit prior to this increase was $500 and I was in the credit steps program so I would've gotten an automatic $250 increase to $750.

I just requested a CLI through their website. My current limit is $300 (was Orchard - opened in 12/2011). Can you send me the email address, please?

i found a link through another post on the forums, but cant remember which post it was. but basically was through a website called gethuman.com and i just searched capital one, it was the third one from the top, "Capital One Credit Card Email"

Within 24 hours, I receieved a call back, and within 24 hours of that call back, I got my CLI!! If anyone cant get the email from instructions above, please feel free to PM me and I will give you the direct email address.

Congrats!

Thanks to the info on this and other credit forums, I was able to accomplish similar success with Cap1. I've had a Platinum card with them about 2 years that had a $750 limit after that silly 6-month "step up" of $250. I was able to call and get the card upgraded to a Quicksilver, did a CLI app online, got it declined, but called the EO and in 1 business day got a call back notifying me they got my CL up to $2000! I was ecstatic! Can't wait to get my new Quicksilver card this week.

Cap1 definitely isn't the monster some people make them out to be. Now I just have to get them to increase my former HSBC card from the measly $300 it is now
