Bought my Experian report today on MyFICO and it shows 651 !! This is the highest on Experian since my journey started in February. Already touched 650 on TU last month (though its TU 98 score). Waiting to see the magic on Equifax now. Equifax score just crawls. All my positive accounts are opened this year and the oldest positive account reported 7 months now. I have some AU accounts too which are dated to 2012 & 2008.

Thanks. I have tons of inquiries (26 on Experian, 22 on Equifax, 9 on TU) though. Waiting for them to age an year. 99% of them are made this year so a majority of them will age one year or so. Hope that time the score will go near 700. Never thought i would be able to see that one day. Back in february all 3 of my scores were below 500. Thanks a lot to everyone of this FORUM for sharing information and their success stories.

Yes i tried too hard to bring my credit back on track. I went a little too far and applied too many time thats why there are too many inquiries now on my report. But i know they are not going to hurt for long. Also my wife helped me in this journey too. She added me to 3 of her major credit cards, of which one was dated back to 2008. My TU scores have improved most and showing will go upto 700 in 3 months.

My story so far:

- February 2013 : Applied for FirstProgress Secured card. Opened with a limit of $300. My EQ FICO was 499. Paid off all my collections (I had 12/13 of them) in full. 8/9 of them were deleted after payment. Some deleted on request, some were deleted by credit bureaus after the collection company did not respond in time to disputes i made online. Scores jumped to almost mid 500s

- March 2013: Was added to AMEX Blue Cash Everyday, DISCOVER MORE, CITI Platinum cards as AU by wife. CITI & DISCOVER backdated, so AAOA increased. AMEX did not backdate. Scores raised to high 500s

- April 2013: Opened Capital One cash rewards card (Green) with $300 CL (first non secured card after my rebuild journey started). Took about 1.5 months to report but once reported, added some more to score and touched 600s. Got greedy and went on a wrong app spree to try my lucks everywhere and got

rejected everywhere. End of April : applied for Macys card and got approved for ridiculous $100. Got approved for EXPRESS & BUCKLE store cards by soft pull/shopping cart trick for $250 CL each.

May 2013: Opened Capital One Platinum card for $500 CL.

June 2013: Scores all went upto 620 around. The big collections i have left on my report from Asset Acceptance are now 6 years old and FICO reports saying not affecting anymore. But unfortunately i have some more recent collections and lates on my report which are still affecting. AAOA got down too with too many new accounts. Got approved for PayPal Smart Connect, Amazon Store Card for $400. Applied for CHASE FREEDOM, got denied. Asked for recon. CHASE approved me for $500 for being a long time banking customer. Asked CAP ONE EO for CLI and one card was raised to $500. Scores were crawling to increasing a bit or so.

JULY, AUGUST - No App

September 2013 - Apped for WalMart Store card for 3rd time just to get the FREE FICO (got greedy seeing my TU scores went pass 650 already). Surprisingly inqs on TU report started falling off as they are now 6 months old.

I just got the denial letter from Barclay saying too many new accounts, too many inqs.

But the most interesting thing is they mentioned my TU score is 661, while MyFICO shows its 651. Does Barclay pull TU 04 or TU08?
