I dealt with CCS (out of Mass., right?) for a $30 Geico account. Instead of DVing, I offered a PFD twice without any response.

Thanksfully they never reported, but I'd recommend DVing them. I did so after they send a second dunning letter a year later. They responded with something stupid like "you didn't provide enough disputable information" or something like that. It took a very mean letter to them to get them to unofficially go away. Keep on your toes with them, even for your $30.

I'd DV and I'd call the OC.

CCS sent me a CO notice today stating that I owe Farmers Insurance roughly $30.00. I'm not even sure I owe this amount, but I may and it might be as a result of a huge mixup with Farmers.

How should I proceed? I've contacted my old insurance agent (I don't have farmers anymore) in regards to seeing if this can be pulled from collections. I told her I didn't mind paying whatever, just pull it from collections!!! She's going to see what she can do. In the mean time, what should I do? DV the CA? Offer a pay for not reporting?

Please help!!!

I called the OC, who said they would wipe out the debt. While I may owe it (I'm honestly not sure, and neither are they), there is enough confusion surrounding the whole issue to backdate the policy, thereby wiping it out.

Now, as far as CCS goes... should I wait until the OC wipes it out before DVing? I think I remember having some Labcorp collections with them a year or so back. I paid Labcorp directly after several letters and they never reported. Still, I don't want to take any chances!!
