NFCU membership

Is there any way of becoming a member of NFCU without any prior service? Looking to become a member only I have never served. My GPA did but he passed a year back, otherwise I'd opt for him to open an account and bump me in..any other options or ways in?

Yes sir, he was a veteran of Vietnam. Only issue is it asks for their last 4 digits of social..not sure if that is accesible to me.

Try calling. They should be able to enroll you with just his info. Give it a try.

I've heard of many joining that way. Call them. And give them all the info you can about him. You shouldn't have any problem.

Being a Veteran and being retired are 2 different things. He would have had to be retired to be eligible.

He was retired and passed last year. He asked if my GPA was retired. I stated yes sir, then added he was a vet of vietnam.
