Yes, if it is a valid paid collection then you would want to GW the CA that is reporting it and hope that they will remove it.

Okay I just pulled my score from scorewatch. I am sitting at 665. It shows one collection on my CR from capital one being the original lendor. It was actuall a collection through Nationwide Recovery. Which shows on my CR from experian to be on collection for a few months then No Data for a few months, then closed. Is there any way to get this removed since I know it was paid the very first month they contacted me about it?

Yes, it shows paid, closed. But is showing up as a collection account on myFico report. Is this just going to be there until time allows it to fall off, or can I goodwill all my paid debts, collections, Co etc. and hope to get the bad ones removed?

Okay thanks! I will try and gather the addresses with the most success on all the places I need to send and start sending them in.

Nationwide Recovery - Capital One CC Paid first month I found out.

Sallie Mae - Student Loan, claim filed with government, but loan is almost completely paid through Nelnet

HSBC Bank - CC paid in settlement

Credit Management - Cable Company - moved and still owed, but paid as soon as I found out. 1 month worth and they sent to collections!! Even though they knew I moved.

American General - Charge Off I am searching through my records to see if this was actually paid or not. Anything a person can do on a charge off?
