Does anyone know when can I go and check my file again to confirm deletion? And how many points does something like this usually raises a score?

You need to give it some time before checking. Account deletions are done manually by the CRAs and can take up to 90 days.

As for points, it would depend on how old the collection is along with your entired credit profile.

Sounds good! Would the deletion of those accounts be notified by Credit Monitoring? or do the CRA send anything confirming?

For something like EQ SW you don't get alerts for deletions, only for score changes. So, if you have that and got points, it would alert you to a score change.

Not sure about how other monitoring services would work.

No, the CRAs won't send you anything.

Hey guys it was a simple letter. Something along the lines of

"I just recently received a copy of my credit file and upon reviewing closely, I do not recognize this account. Please provide me with proof that I owe you what you say I owe you."

I also cited some stuff from the FCRA... Didnt think it was going to work but hey! What the hell... Why not give it a shot?
