I just read on another thread that myFICO has recently changed the EQ FICO model to beacon 9.0/EQ08. I wonder if that is true. If so, that kinda sucks. Why don't they just leave well enough alone with the product that most lenders are still using? If this is true...then myFICO, you lost my SW business...i'll just subscribe to EQ's SW.

good morning, I've seen post from members of the forum that has stated their Equifax score was right on the money when they had a lender pull or when they were applying for some sort of credit. The other scores, I try not to get too excited about on here cause you just never know what's real until someone has to pull your credit. All we can do is try to maintain healthy credit.

The EX FICO on this site is the newest model, 08. Some on here have stated that it matched the score some CCC's pulled. I don't believe the EX08 is used by a large amount of lenders yet. The TU here is TU98....outdated and rarely used, if even used at all. The EQ FICO is 04 model (Beacon 5.0), which will be the same score used by most Mortgage lenders.

There are 49 different versions in each FICO year (bankcard, auto, collection, mortgage, etc).
