I had a midland collection. Somehow it was easy for me to get off or at least my attorney's got it off, albeit the attorneys were far from cheap. I have heard nightmares about midland, but they were the one of the first collections to fold when attorneys were invovled in my case. Obviosuly results vary.

I feel guilty involving attornies, but alot of collection agencies don't follow the laws and that is where you can beat them at there own game whether you owe the debt or not. If they violated any porition of the law, you win. Least imo.
