score increase!!

Well finally after about two months of sitting still my EQ score has started to move again. In the last two weeks I've gotten 3 increases. One for a collection deleted, a chargeoff hit 7 yr mark, and I paid down my cc's.

I now have my highest score 666

I admit thought I was a little disappointed. I got 11 points for paying my cc's down

from 46% to 2%. The score simulator said my minimum range would be higher. I REALLY wanted 26 points (so I could be at 680) but I will take the eleven happily!!!

When I paid down my cc's I am now at 36/500 0/1000

I really did not mean to pay down the one to zero. I meant to keep a very small balance.

Do you think that affected my score??

Wish me luck....I have one last collection to go.

Congrats golf. In my case, my scores act better when only one CC reports a balance. Many others report the same thing. You can try to allow a small balance to report and see what happens to the score. If it goes up, you have your answer. If it goes down, you know to only allow one to report.
