Verizon Wireless Paid Charge Off - want it gone!

I've been reading about this and seems some people are luckier than others.

It's showing on EQ as an OPEN account with NO balance and a past balance of $45. DOLA is 11/2007 - when DH cancelled the service to move to different carrier.

Should I GW? Does anyone have good addresses and maybe a name to direct this to?

I just GW'd Verizon yesterday through planetfeedback.com and received and email today from a Kristy [edited] at Verizon asking me to contact her to speak with her over the phone regarding this. I left her a VM and I am waiting to hear back from her. I'm keeping my fingers crossed here! It's from 2006 but having it removed should help me out a little and with my scores every little bit helps!!

Just recd a call back from her and she is REALLY nice to deal with. She just had a question regarding my account because my last name has changed. She told me she is going to look into my account and get back to me in the next 24 hours. I did ask her to send me an email with her response (that way I have it in writing).

I had a charge off with them that went to collections in 2006 for like $500 and I PIF to the CA in 2006.

Hey there, it's showing as a CO and in EQ and EX - I don't have the latest TU to check there. We were contacted via e-mail in responsed to our planetfeedback letter. They requested that we contact their Executive Office at an 866 number. DH is on the phone with them right now. I'll post the result.

They deleted!!!!!!!!!! We sent them a GW to their Folsom office and even though the planetfeedback generated phone call ended up in nothing their National Recovery Department sent us a letter saying they were deleting and that it would take up to 60 days to appear in our CRs but that in the meantime we can use their letter as proof that the tradeline will be eliminated.

Hi what does PFB and PFD stand for? I need to delete the CO from my account to get a loan for my house. The paid off was 2008. I opened a dispute, but loan officer told me to close it. Once closed it dropped my credit score. And the last reported date was 12/11. I need help to get it back up so I can qualify. Please help.

PFB= Planet Feedback

PFD= Pay for Delete

Ditto to the prev. poster on the acronyms.

FICO ignores certain aspects of your payment history for OC accounts only, like this VZW acct, when disputed. That would have caused a score increase. And when the dispute clears, the points get taken away. And unfortunately VZW and Verizon (landline) seem vindictive when you dispute. They'll update the TL and it often reflects as a newer baddie. Start firing off GW letters and call too. A PFD wouldn't apply for you since it was paid.
