Does the age of the account being removed factor in for score changes?

I'm getting the paid tax lien removed and I'm wonrdering if I can expect a score drop? Filed 2007 paid 2014 but it's withdrawn.

They took my tax refund every year and paid it toward this so the DoFD probably stayed current?

It will depend on the rest of your profile, the lien is a PR, PRs are not included in AAoA only OCs are so no loss there, it will cause a rebucketing since it appears to be your own PR, its going to depend on what bucket you end up in with the collections you have on file and how old since the last one reported. DoFDs do not apply to tax liens the reporting period on one is 10 years from date of filing ro 7 years from date of payment so it can remain for a long time if you dont get a withdrawl. Good you are getting the withdrawl.

The tax lien is listed as a public record. I faxed all the CRA's the filed withdrawal yesterday. I have 1 paid-medical(03/14) and 3 unpaid medicals-DoFD's 05/08;12/08; 12/09 $82, $87, $407

No real way of knowing what the loss (or gain) may be. It solely depends on what else is going on.

If you've faxed it, you may have an uphill battle. EQ is HORRIBLE about this.

Just called EX and he said they received the fax and it has already been removed and is no longer onmy reports.

EQ says it will take up to 4 days-I'll call back in a couple days

TU is...being...um, difficult. Still on the phone with them.
