Capital One EO denied GW? Next Steps?

I sent a GW to remove a paid charge off from 4 years ago. They said it wasnt an error on their part so it remains and they have to report accurate. It is my understanding that they dont have to report the tradeline at all and nothing is holding them to it which is why I requested a GW but it was a no go.

What are my next steps? Snail mail?

I recommend 1 letter a month mailed to the EO until you get what you are after, with Cap-1 they are more apt to do what you ask after year 6 but that doesnt mean not to try on a once a month basis, you may not even hear from them every month, whether or not you send ano letter would be determined by checking to see if the TL reporting has changed from the previous month. Persistence is the name of the game in credit repair, good luck

Yea they called me and denied me over the phone.
