topic "Delinquent" Auto Loan Fixed in Rebuilding Your Credit

I had an auto loan 60 days late in 2011. I paid it off and closed the account with zero balance. Went on with my life.

Last month I checked my credit reports and noticed 1 "delinquent" account. Turns out the auto loan was being reported as Late 60 days since March 2011, even though it was paid off.

I disputed with the CRAs and they have today updated the status to Pays As Agreed. Expecting some kind of score jump. But even nicer is to see no delinquent accounts showing.

They say check your credit reports for mistakes. Wow, no joke.

I used to be satisfied with annual reviews of my reports but now I think that I'd start to review them quarterly. Doing it less than annually is not a good thing.
