Don't mean to beat a dead horse on this, but I also have a Capital One account that has been in good standing since opened, but refused to budge on credit limit for some time, and I would like to get the CLI increased as well as upgraded to the QuickSilver Visa Proper.

Can someone help me out with the email and/or a sample letter template so that I may contact them and request this increase.

Info for all

We don't usually give this info out for the purpose of GW's

This tool has been used for CLI's and waiving AF's

They're not very receptive to GW's of course as always YMMV

However if you're using this for GW's I would advise not doing that as this avenue has been great for others forum member with CAP1 cards..

If to many people abuse the system then at some point they will close the door on this valued resource and one day you may be a CAP 1 customer seeking a CLI or waiver of the AF so please consider this before sending request for lates or CO to be removed.. and chances are you won't be successful.....sorry but true.

Thanks for google-ing for me, I'd already found the email address. My question was more regarding a format or information that I should include...some have had success with CLI this way, what kind of picture did they paint, what kind of information did they give?

I tried looking through the forums for the "walk-thru" that some had mentioned, but turned up nothing but more users saying "hey i just emailed the ceo, let's see how it goes!"

I'm sure the CEO doesn't respond to or bother with email to his account, so whomever is looking at it will likely be looking for something specific, wording, account last four or something in order to assist.

Can anyone help out with that info?

For CLI's or AF waivers

Email with name and phone you can be reached at...

Do Not include any personal or account info

Just that you would like your account reviewed for such and such reason that's it simple and easy

What to expect

They will call you and take some info

Rent or mortgage payment

Income

Amount your seeking....reach for the sky 5k

Will you accept a lesser amount ...say yes

Now what

usually it takes 3-4 days for results

After the second day check your account online most results show up there before the rep calls you back with your results
