thank you so much for your reply. I will try to get in touch with someone at Pressler to see if they can file a motion to vacate. Its worth the shot!

A judgement was entered against me back in December 2013 from Pressler &Pressler (for Midland) on a Chase account. Once judgement was entered and I became aware of it, it was paid in full, all court fees and original amount.

I'm trying to figure out a way to get the public record off my credit report. Has anyone dealt with anything similar and has been successful?

if and when the public record gets deleted off of my account, will I have to GW Midland for removal of their reporting on my reports as well? I have two paid accounts with them, This Chase one and a Nordstrom account which I settled with then for less than the amount owed.

I am in NJ, btw.

&thank you in advance for any help that any may share within this post. I greatly appreciate it!

Pursuant to NJ Court Rule 4:50-1, the court may relieve a party or the party's legal representative from a final judgment or order for the following reasons: (a) mistake, inadvertence, surprise, or excusable neglect; (b) newly discovered evidence which would probably alter the judgment or order and which by due diligence could not have been discovered in time to move for a new trial under R. 4:49; (c) fraud (whether heretofore denominated intrinsic or extrinsic), misrepresentation, or other misconduct of an adverse party; (d) the judgment or order is void; (e) the judgment or order has been satisfied, released or discharged, or a prior judgment or order upon which it is based has been reversed or otherwise vacated, or it is no longer equitable that the judgment or order should have prospective application; or (f) any other reason justifying relief from the operation of the judgment or order. The time to file a motion shall be filed no later than 1 year after the entry of the judgment.

You'll need to contact the Judgement Creditor, to ask for an agreement of removal, if it's satisfied. That's pretty much the only way.

did you try and dispute with the CRA's?

I had two judgemnts from Pressler & Pressler. one was closed and shows satisfied on the state website. I disputed the judgement and it was removed from EQ,EX and I have just disputed with TU over the weekend.

check the status here http://njcourts.judiciary.state.nj.us/web15z/ACMSPA/
