Question to those others on Credit Steps program!

So I have read too much about this and confused myself, I have come to realize credit steps is different for everyone, even the time you are "guaranteed" your CLI. So my question is, when did you get yours?

My email from them has 2 steps (I have seen other letters that go into way more detail) but mine is

Use card atleast 1 time in first 5 months, make ontime payments = CLI of 200

*will receive CLI by December 2014

Most of what I have read say after the 5th statement cuts you get the CLI (which makes sense, youve had the card 6 months at that point)

My 5th statement will cut tomorrow (11th) Others report never getting one (im fairly sure they screwed up somewhere along the line) and others report not getting one until their 7th statement.

Just trying to figure out if I need to come up with cash for this years kids Halloween costumes or if I can put em on the card and worry about it later. (bonus time at christmas can pay it all)

I'm verified by phone in credit steps program, but have never received email. However, working on side to maybe get something going by 3rd billing statement,

I have had the card since July and they told me more than once when my statement in Dec cuts I should see my CLI, needing a bit more before then but will take what I can get. Need some side work of my own to happen

I have a Household/HSBC card that Cap1 took over July 2013. In April of this year I got an email that my card was enrolled in credit steps and it went from $300 to $750. It posted on my May statement. I'm looking for another CLI anyday if my calculations are right. My 6th statement (from last CLI) cuts November 2nd.

Darn was hoping for right after 5th statement cut like some others have said. No go yet, hoping for earlier but latest should be Dec 11th (7th statement)

I recieved my quicksilver & platinum card the 1st week of March, made my first payment for both cards Apr 10th, & recieved increases for both cards 3 days after Aug 10th when my statement is due before they cut the statment for the next billing cycle. They sent me a statement increase email Aug 18th. Hope this helps.

I got my cards 3 or 5 days apart almost 2 months after you so if they do the same I might get one of the increases this week.

My 5th statement cut earlier this month and I have not gotten anything yet. Hoping to get it in a couple of weeks when the 6th cuts. No lates, PIF every week, running about 1K a month through a $500 card.

Yes, my 5th statment had been cut but I hadnt gotten my 6th statement before I got the increase. Right after my bill was due. Also, if you have already paid your 5th payment, call them ask them to ballpark when you will receive it and maybe if they can put thru since you have them on the phone. My experience with Capital One is that they have always been accomodating.

Pay your 5th invoice and call them and see when you will receive your increase.

Apply for any Capital One card geared towards rebuilding credit, including but not limited to Platinum, Classic, Secured & Quicksilver, and you will automatically be enrolled.

Talked to them online today and I dont think they knew English very well =/ After posting alot of replys to me that had nothing to do with my question or giving me the scripted credit steps program details I finally got out of them I will see the increase on my 12/11/14 billing statement. So I guess its 7th statement.

They said I am past the 5th statement but I am on the 4th billing cycle. They go by billing cycles she said. (made no sense but maybe their billing cycles are 45 days or something?)

So atleast I know, its the maximum amount of time that my original email from them said, *by December 2014. (The email said after 5th statement but had the * and tiny disclaimer)

Cool got my 1st cards CLI, Its at 500 total now.

Sooooo I talked with 3 reps, all 3 told me I would get my increase on 12/11/14. (for my first card)

I ended up getting it 11/12/14

It took 6 full statements and I got it 1 day after the 6th statement cut. I did go over my 300 limit once by 1.03 dollars but paid it down the following morning back under my limit. (they did not seem to care or atleast it did not mess up my credit steps)

So kind of happy, wished it was 1000 I was wanting to use it for rent each month but its a start!

Only posting because if anyone else out there is like me, you scour for information about your CLIs

Just woke up one day and it was there... no fanfare, no email, no notifications or docs in my account.

I hope I get a CLI soon. I love my card, but the $300 limit makes it harder to use. I never got a letter or email about being in credit steps. My fifth statement should cut on 11/17 so I'll hang in there and see what happens.
