I know everyone's credit situation is unique and nobody can really say how long it will take one person to raise their score, but just looking for ballparks.

Are you seeing a steady increases at 12 months, 24 months, 36 months of effort? I have been looking at some members signature lines and it seems like you can expect some pretty decent improvements in just a year.

The biggest increase I saw was when I deleted all negative items off my credit. I have 8 revolving accts with the oldest being 18 months old and the youngest being 9 months old. I have never missed a payment. My scores are the roughly the same as they were this time last year.

Interesting. I have been at this for just a few weeks and saw a 10 point increase. Somewhere on here, I saw a girl who raised her score 130 in 12 months. Just curious to see everyone's unique experiences.

The biggest I've seen in the past few weeks since joining is +22 pts for my wife's CR. That was when one (of 3) CC's reported a zero balance after being up around a 80% util in recent months. But then this weekend her EQ dropped 15 pts for an installment account being PIF and closed. So it's going to continue being up and down I'm sure. My EX jumped 38 pts this week with a new zero balance on same account but, unlike my wife, I don't have any collections or judgments on my CR.

101 to 123 (waiting for latest disputes tu and cap one report ex) after cleaning up as many baddies as could. Ex is clean, TU has $397 in small med collections from one agency that is pain in butt to deal with.

However, I was also building positive trade lines since May 2013, and other medical collections were either easy PFD's or backdated charity care write offs.

Expect to be clearly in 700+ club by march, April 2015.

It stays that same amount and doesnt fluctuate. If i pay the balances i can recover some of my points but even with. making on time payments for almost two years on 3 accts, I havent hit 700.

Mine started in the 480's begining of March (sad I know). After learning as much as I possibly could, getting a few collections off, getting all my student loan lates removed...I'm around 640 now on all 3 crbs. Haha so 160 in 7 months...not to bad. I still have 3 civil judgements I'm working on and two collections...can't wait to see what happens to my scores when they come off. Credit rebuilding is addictive

So I have been trying to fix my husband credit since Jan of this year. I just signed up for MyFico last month- but Credit karma had him down at 520ish when we first started. He is now a 590 and we still have things due to fall off any day. I think by the time we get all the stuff off that we can he will be a 620-640 and then it will just be growing our good accounts. There are a few negatives that I just give up getting off- capital one and verizon so until those age off... I will just have to be happy with whatever we get

For me it has been a very unsteady pace.

When I started, I was in the low- mid 500's. I pulled my three free reports and disputed incorrect info. That shot me up ~ 40 points. Then I started tackling outstanding debt. I was probably around 60-70%, I'm now at 2 - 4% tops in any given month rotating the cards I use to keep them active. That increase maybe another 30 points.

When things got fun was when I started applying for new cards and an installment loan. Shot my rade line total up (yes, this also helped the utilization), filled in a spot on my "portfolio" (the installment loan), and I saw my score raise another 50-60 points.

Last but not least I filed Form 12277 with the IRS to request the "Fresh Start" program and have my paid lien removed from my credit report.

I do still have a (paid) judgement showing, but am already working with the court to vacate it.

All that is left is a few 30 day lates from over 4 years ago that no amount of GW letters or emails seem to be able to make go away.

My scores are now ranging from a low of 691 to a high of 780. (as not all three have everything updated yet).

Good luck to you, it absolutely can be done. But it can also be another full time job.

My scores went up pretty fast initially. I think that when you are starting the rebuild process this happens. Once you have nothing left to dispute and you added a couple of trade lines this is where the real building begins. Scores shoot up when negative items fall off and new positive items report. After that the score increases will not be so high. My greatest jump was 108+ in TU in 30 days. I doubt this will ever happen again. But I am so happy it did!
