Need Help writing first Good Will letter to Capital One.

Hello,

I have an open credit card with capital one. I believe I have had it since 2010. I missed 3 30 day payments back in early of 2012 due to un-employment. I am hoping to purchase a house this upcoming spring and desperately need this information removed if possible. Any pointers on what to write? Do you email or send a letter? This would be my first time writing a letter. Any advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!!!

Don't even worry about them. 30's don't effect your score after 24 months.

I would search the forums regarding Good will letters, there are several examples. I would not copy word for word, but change as needed for your personal situation. All they can say is no.... and it only costs you a stamp. Good Luck!
