AMCOL (will not put it in writing but will do it)

UNIQUE NTL Colection (gave me it in writing before paid)

NORTH AMERCIAN (will not put it in writing but will do it)

Gold Key (will not put it in writing I will let you know when they do it, these people are hard to deal with. They will not let you know if they will do it until after you pay)

AMCA (Will NOT do it)

PROFESSIONAL MED ADJ BUR (will not put it in writing but will do it)

Merchants Collections - Did PFD but would not put it in writing

Frost Arnett - Did PFD would not put in writing

BCA Financial- Did PFD would not put in writing

Portfolio- Did NOT PFD but deleted after a BBB complaint was filed

Capio- Did not PFD but deleted after a BBB complaint was filed

Merchants and Frost were the easiest to deal with. BCA was a very difficult nut to crack but it was eventually done. Portfolio and Capio both would not play ball at all with me with a PFD but did delete after I filed BBB complaints.

My complaint to BBB for Capio was for faulty bookeeping from the OC (hospital) resulted in a bill being missed and eventually ending up on my credit report. Despite the OC admitting their error they said they could do nothing for me because the debt was sold to Capio. I said in my complaint it was unfair to punish me for 7 years due to somebody elses mistake.

For Portfolio I focused on the huge number of calls they made attempting to collect. These bills were both supposed to be paid by the Physician because my surgery was due to his error to start with. Thats a whole other can of worms Im not even going to open, just glad to finally have a clean report.
