I had a Federal Tax lien which was released on 12/1/2005. Within the last 2 weeks, Experian and Transunion automatically removed the lien. Today, I called Equifax requesting early removal of the lien. Wait for it.......Equifax granted request!!! Oh Happy Day

I have learned so much here, and tune in practically every day. THANK YOU for helping me continue my rebuilding journey.

Grats, it should have been gone after 7 years in Jan 2013, tax liens remain on file 7 years post being paid

Did not have the means to pay the taxes in full. 10 year statute in my case.
