Early exclusion??! That exists?!! Can I?

After all my reading for a year, how come I've never come across early exclusion? How close do you have to be in months for having an account fall off to be successful?

I have 3 medical collections that age to 7 yrs in Sep/oct 2015.

Experian reports them to fall off june/july

Transunion says aug/sep

Am I too far away or should I try for early exclusion?

Either by phone or writing a letter to the CRAs. You should start trying with TU 6 months prior and 3 months out with the others.

Will the CRA consider my balances on my other accounts? Should I wait until they're paid down or does it matter??

Doesn't matter to the CRA's what is on there. Their job is to just report it.

I would start trying now with TU. They are the easiest to get this done with. Try about twice a month till they are deleted.

TU phone rep acted clueless. Said I should ask creditor to remove early.

I said I needed help getting an item removed & I told her when it was scheduled to & I was told it would stay until then. I asked about getting an early exclusion...

What was I supposed to say?

I just went through an early exclusion with TU and EX. TU at 5 months out EX at 5 months out. TU you probably need to call a few times. DO NOT let them dispute. Use the TU Penn # EX was easy, I had tried in january, lady said she couldn't do it til Feb. Called feb 2 DONE. Use EX TX number. TU done on Jan 23, expected to stay on file til 6/15. EX done Feb 2 expected to stay on file til 7/15. keep calling TU, most of the people I have seen have success report having to call 3-5x to get to someone that knew what the heck we were talking about.

I got both TU and Ex to do early exclusion. TU reps were not so helpful to me so I opened an online dispute and followed a script someone else on this site posted, "I am not disputing this account. I am requesting early exclusion". Or something to that effect. It worked in less than 72 hours. With EX I just called and they removed the accounts in the same time frame. Persistence and patience.

Just to add something I forgot, EX does require the report number from your report. Its in bold under your name on the report from annualcreditreport.com

I just found out about this a few days ago. Mine are scheduled to fall off in April (Ex) and September (TU).

I'll probably leave the Ex one alone, mostly to see if/when it happens.

I'll try to get the TU one removed early.

When I called TU, reps literally were clueless about early exclusion. It wasn't in the "script" they are taught. I had success twice online - I worded it " I am not disputing. I am asking for an early exclusion as this is scheduled for removal in April". Exp reps understand early exclusion and I had no trouble with a phone call. Eq doesn't seem to like early removal. I am waiting them out. I have one more month to go. The good part is EQ updates on the 1st if the month. Good luck!

Exp rep today said no such thing exists. I'm afraid to dispute online because what happens if it comes back verified? Wont that hurt my score? Which option would I even choose? You have to choose 1 and none of them really apply...
