I would file a CFPB complaint against WF on this requesting it be commuted on the 2 CRAs that are still reporting it. If there is opening date errors as well I would include that in the CFPB filing.

i have argued with them for a year now, paid lexington law for 6 months, and they still will not correct my credit. it appears that the error being there in the first place proves they changed my due date and maturity date after taking payment and i'm thinking that is why they won't admit that the late is incorrect. consumer affairs has agreed with me the late is incorrect and after many disputes/arguments with experian they removed it for me. equifax has tried telling me "only wells fargo can remove it" seems wells fargo has ruined my credit with intent as they have reported the loan opened 3 weeks before i bought the car and if the open date was correct then the late would be impossible. experian had the right open date and that is how i got them to remove it. transunion never had the incorrect late as they didn't start reporting to them till the last year of the loan so again impossible for it to be there. i have sent them a letter agreeing to take no further action and consider it settled if they will correct it promptly well that was last week and i am getting impatient. i have told them to correct it or i will demand they pay to replace my car 20,500 since they want to ruin my credit. i am really annoyed my 11 year old has to have surgery on her foot and i really feel after paying nearly 30,000 she has a right to a ride to and from school. i refuse to pay more then what i should to replace the car as i earned my credit and i expect it to be accurate and am not going to pay more to replace the car then i should have to. they told me they aren't going to argue with me, they have to sleep at night (as i asked how they sleep at night) so wonder what is taking so long. surely hope i don't have to sue them but i am not going to stop until they fix it.

made a complaint with soutrh carolina consumer affairs and was a waste of time. wells fargo is saying they reported me 90 days late on 1-22 then i made the last payment on 2-17 and they reported me 90 days again b/c i was 90 days late when i made payment so not even a full month between the two 90 days late. i have disputed for over a year and wells fargo will not budge. they refuse to correct the open date and also it says months reviewed 78 so if i had 75 mo terms how do they get two 90 days lates on the same payment when they only reviwed for 78 months. seems only enough months to have one 90 days late. my car was totalled and i can't replace it with a fair interest rate as a result of their shade lending practices. i was ripped off when they changed my due date and maturity date after accepting first payment from me but i have no proof as the dealer was in on it. my contract has the "new" due date and that is the reason they called and insisted it be changed "it had to match the contract" seems i was given truth in lending terms for a simple interest home loan which have different dates then an auto loan. not to mention i had 2 oil leaks before the car was paid off which i also question the dealers honesty. that's okay though wells fargo and the dealer lost ALL my future business. going to have to let my 4th grader do online school next year b/c i don't have a reliable car to take her there, tried the bus this year for the first time and that's not going to happen again.

You have 2 choices, the first what I said above file complaint with the CFPB and youor second is to send WF an intent to sue (ITS) letter if you can prove your side and they are wrong.

do you know if it is even legal for them to take my final payment then go and report me 90 days late? consumer affairs seems to think it is legal but when i first called they said it wasn't so i am confused. wells fargo says it is legal when they did it but the laws changed a month later so now it's not. not so sure i believe them. I can prove they have the wrong open date and refuse to correct it.

Since you have some proofs fle your CFPB complaint and upload your proofs to them.
