Just want to let all of you that have been fighting this game called CREDIT, know that you will get a better feeling, a bigger high than you can ever imagine when you just follow the advice you get on here and then step back, let time work its magic and watch those scores RISE and RISE and RISE!!!

I can't tell you how much I recommend getting a MyFico Score Subscription to help you through your Credit Rebuild. If you get it for know other reason (and there are many reasons) get it for the alerts showing you that YOU are moving on UP!! Yes there will be ups and downs but once you get that ball rolling, you will simply be empowered like you never thought you would to stay the course! Time heels ALL!

I agree. The best part is that it isn't a false rush either. We all set out to accomplish a particular objective, and begin to reap rewards for accomplishing those goals.

Definitely a sense of pride in that.

Seeing it come down from new accounts after a recent rebucket sucks though.

711 to 702 once my CashRewards and Venture showed their face on my TU. (Venture has like 0 balance, CashRewards is 40% utilized, Took advantage of BT to free up some dollars for a couple months as I am anticipating an expense that 100% won't take a CC)

This afternoon I was thinking about cancelling my monitoring service. But then I realized that by spending $25 each month I'm probably saving at couple hundred bucks each month, as now I really think about it before I swipe my debit or credit cards. I signed up for on a financial management site (rhymes with tint), and now I'm literally tracking every penny that I spend. It has made me far more conscious of my spending.
