topic Citibank Personal Unsecured Loan in Rebuilding Your Credit

Hi!

I have Citibank unsecured loan that I took out when I was young and stupid. It shows up on my TU report as $5, 753 and it says on TU and EQ that it is to be removed on May 2015 (I filed for it to be removed from TU early and they did). Past this date, would Citibank still be able to sue me for the money (I live in NY)? I still have my only Checking and Savings account with them and it's been about 8-9 years. Also, under my online Citibank account, it notes this loan as a Liability, and states it as $12,000 etc.. under the Financial Tools. Will this always be there? Sometimes I'm scared they will take my money but I guess they know how much I make every month.

They have a right of setoff and could seize your funds at anytime. As far as being able to sue the SOL on written contracts in NY is 6 years. The SOL & CRTP are clocked from the DoFD.
