I am ecstatic to say my TMobile goodwill letter worked! I actually emailed them last night asking them to please remove the account from the CA and I got a email when I woke up! Here it is!
T-Mobile USA, Inc. ("T-Mobile") is in receipt of your correspondence dated February 15, 2014 that you submitted concerning your T-Mobile account.

Please be assured that T-Mobile strives to provide world-class service to all of our customers on each and every contact. T-Mobile regrets any inconvenience you may have experience

On February 15, 2014, in an effort to amicably resolve your credit report concern, T-Mobile has removed the account from third-party collections and instructed the collection agency to delete any negative information reported to the credit bureaus regarding this debt. Please note that it may take up to 90 days for your credit report to reflect the change.

How old was the collection? The newer the are the more impact on your score.

Thank you so much. I'm working on goodwill letters now to macys and first premeir for 30 and 60 day lates. 2010 was a very dark year for me financially.

Sorry for the late reply! life of a night shift nurse i tell ya! The collection was as old as 2010, but they kept taking away and readding to my credit report, the newest being 2013 of october. I paid the OC Tmobile.

Hi, Im new to the forum. I've been reading through t-mobile/midland threads and saw that the goodwill letter worked for you. I really appreciate it if your willing to share the letter that you sent to t-mobile. Also did you pay in person or by phone before the letter? Or did you negociate payment after they agreed to deleting from your report? If I can deal with tmobile directly and have them contact midland on my behalf that would be awesome.
