Continued weird TL deletions

*backstory*

I posted a couple months ago about a mortgage I had on my reports that was going through foreclosure (due to my ex husband screwing me) that mysteriously disappeared from my reports. No known reason why, just POOF gone. Second mortgage (from 80/20) remained on reports.

*Fast forward two months*

End of last week had a huge score jump on another site and investigated. Second mortgage is now gone from at least one report AND an old CO from a credit card with the same bank is gone. So, in a short amount of time 3 very bad TL's removed for no apparent reason, had not disputed, not even close to aging off.

I would think it was just funky reporting with the mortgages since the foreclosure is almost complete, but to have the card CO removed as well when it has nothing to do with the house makes it all even stranger. I am certainly NOT complaining, just wondering if anyone has any thoughts on what in the world could be the reason!?

Did all of the accounts have an unpaid debt balance?

The two mortgages do, they are still in foreclosure process. House is scheduled for sale in late June. I also am 99% sure they can not seek a deficiency judgement once the sale is complete.

The credit card was settled for less than owed over 2 years ago. So no balance owed.

Was your ex listed on those accounts as well? Is it possible they asked them to be removed and were succesful?

Yes, he was. He filed BK immediately after the divorce and he included the accounts in question (not to mention leaving me to deal with them even though he took them in the decree). However, they never stated anything regarding his BK on my reports.

Perhaps it was because of his bankruptcy. Maybe it was easier to stop reporting the accounts at all than to report just on yours. Either way...congrats!

I am trying not to get my hopes up, but it would be great if that is the case. After all the stress of having his lack of resposiblity affect me and my wonderful new husband, it certainly would be a little piece of justice to it all!

This was my thought, as a possibility.

I sure hope so. I am still waiting to see if they drop from the other 2 reports. When the first instance happened it came off all reports within a week. As far as I can tell right now it is only EX that has dropped the 2 new ones.
