I opened a Fingerhut account last month because they were one or two places that had a laptop I wanted to purchase. Amazon wasn't going to extend me credit, but Fingerhut did and with a $50 off coupon it ended up being cheaper than Amazon.

I was approved for a $600 CL and used $390 of it. Paid it down to $250 in the first 2 weeks.

They just gave me a $250 CLI., 30 days after I opened the account.

Is this a double-edged sword? Are they as quick to reduce CLs as they are to raise them?

Today I got a text that I got a CLI. It's up to $1,100 instead from $600. Guess they decided to do $500 instead of $250.

Maybe I should start Christmas shopping early lol.
