Thanks to this board, I started my formal credit repair practice i.e. no longer disputing things online in September of this year. I could not get arrested with a credit card at that time, and thankfully, I have obtained 4 great lines of credit since then that have helped my family so much.....moving on.

I sent certified mail my first disputes to Equifax and Experian in September, along with my DV and late pay disputes to my OC at the same time. Of course, Equifax "verified" the information, Experian refused a "reinvestigation", but the OC late pays were not even responded to by the OC's. I sent my 15 day dispute letters 36 days after via certified mail, to both the CRA's and the OC's, and the same thing again from both.

I then mailed a method of verification to the CRA's. Experian said they did it through a digital delivery, but provided no address or any contact info. Equifax did not even bother to respond. I sent an ITS letter to the OC's and the CRA's, and still no dice.

Has anyone had any experience suing the CRA's and getting anywhere with it? Let me know; I would sure appreciate any info you might have. Thanks for putting up with my constant questions; I am just trying to get my life straight here

So, you were disputing late pays being reported by the OC, when you were not actually late?

What did your dispute letter to the CO say?

FCRA 623(a)(8) relates to disputing directly with the furnisher of information.

Two choices, send the OC a final letter, citing FCRA 623, and allow 30 days to respond. OR File suit.

Thanks for your reply Sidewinder. They were not late at all; and I have sent 3 letters to them, all with no response. And that is what I cited from the FCRA. How about the CRA? Will a lawsuit maybe change their mind when they have claimed to have "verified" this but no one has been able to tell me how, or show me where these lates occurred. thanks.
