Hello, I am new here but I have been lurking on here for some time. I was reading successes and failures on GW letters and figured i'd give it a try myself. I had 2 previous accounts with Springleaf Financial. 1 was paid on time every month but the 2nd was a charge off.

I sent a GW email expalining my situation and asking for help. I sent the email to the CEO this morning and he already replied and I already received a call from another person stating they will get back to me tomorrow due to the offices already being closed. So I am hoping this is a good sign of things to come with this GW process.

Good luck! I hope u get yours removed. I have an account with them that I paid that they refused to remove. I just sent them a goodwill back in May.

Good luck! Please let me know how it goes. How old are your accounts? I have a CO with them and ended up just settling with the debt buyer ab0ut 3.5 years after the fact so I rpobably don't have a change but I did have extenuating circumstances.

Update on this GW request, I DID HAVE SUCESS with the GW letter I sent. It took them about 2 weeks to process it but the account is no longer listed on any report. THe account in question was 5 yrs old.
