My coworker and I went to lunch and split the check and I pulled out my Quicksilver and he pulled out his CSP. I can't wait until I can qualify for a prime card....

As long as it wasnt declined, I wouldnt be embarassed, LOL.

It was just that card's turn in the spotlight, you could have a Black Visa in there, thats how I see it.

I am very happy to have more than 1 card in there that isnt a debit card. I am not that far from my early rebuilding days.

Don't be! It's just a plastic card, as long as it goes through your QS is as good as that CSP

How many people with the CSP got into gambling debt or nasty divorce and now can't have any credit cards? Don't take this as I'm wishing misfortune on others but no one's perfect and after rebuilding you can have a CSP again.

LOL speaking of the devil, I've maxed out my CSP for almost a year now and I can't pay it down. It's in my wallet but I really have no use for it lol in the meanwhile my QS is bailing me out.

You really have a wrong view of credit and credit cards if you are embarrassed by the card you pull out of your wallet. By being on this board, you are showing that you at least card about your credit. Believe me, there are many a CSP holders who are glad no one can see their credit profile. So hold your head up and go as normal. You'll see soon enough what a card really means to you in the overall scheme of things. just a means of paying.

If it makes you feel any better, I;ve been on these forums almost faily for 6 months and I didnt know Quicksilver was anything....unless he also had credit rebuilding issues he probably doesnt know what type of card it is.

Don't be embarrassed! I have a Capital One Platinum and Discover It and sometimes when I pull out my wallet I just look at them and can't believe I have them. A year or so ago my credit was so bad I thought I would never even have a credit card.

Well you've been here long enough to know there are A LOT of 'Credit Snobs' here... don't catch that bug. Be thankful and grateful for what you have and you will end up with more when your time comes. Like someone else posted above, you have no idea what your lunch mates credit situation is... just because they have that card doesn't mean they may not have issues. All that glitters is not gold!

I'm very happy with my QS card. It seems to swipe as well as my others. I enjoy the cash back too.

I have Cap One Secured platinum and QS and a debit card. And people think I am doing great! Lol. I think I am too, because I jacked up my first CC as a student. I buy gas and food with my cards now.

I met a Doctor.

She was 45.

She rode her bike to work. Never wore expensive clothes. Used her credit to pay for basic neccesities only. Simple life.

I met her when she was retiring. Like...done. Done with work, bills, everything.

I'm just trying to say that every journey is different and as long as you're happy and you know you're gonna reach that personal goal that you're aiming for, screw everybody else.

Gonna go whip out my Platinum with pride.

QS is a great card! I'm only 18, but I plan on keeping my QS for the rest of my life. Even if I'm earning 6+ figures, I will still be using this card. The flat rate cash back is awesome and simple, to say the least.

Don't be embarrased. I have a secured Platinum Cap 1 and a secured Discover, but they work as well as my Amex ED. Cards don't make you; it's who you are that is important. Your QS could be $10k and your co-worker's $2k. As long as it wasn't declined, that's all that matters.
