Finally! All three reports clean!

I just got word today that my last derog, an old medical collection only reporting on Transunion, dropped off. All three of my reports are completely clean, for the first time since I can remember! I am soooo happy, and definitely intend to keep it that way!

Only bad thing, though, I am kicking myself because on Monday night I got impatient and apped for a Chase Freedom card. I got the dreaded 7-10 day message, and I have a sinking feeling that collection was what stopped it from being an approval. If I had only been more patient and waited one more lousy week, I may have been approved! Oh well, if I don't get the result I want, I'll wait 6 months - a year and try again. Right now I am just relishing in my completely clean credit!

The most difficult part is now over. Fantastic job. Yeah i would've waited on that Chase Freedom app. But if they deny, call their recon line after the collections drops and i'm sure they will accomodate you.
