Insane how wife got 3k x 2 from Capone today????

Wife after bk discharge a year ago...got two instant approvals for 3k limit from Capone...she had 580 scores from tu and eq from fico...and 650 scores from credit karma. Experience frozen from before her bk.

How is this possible, without starter secured card, she was just given 6k of unsecured credit...instantly automated. I had to get a navy secured card, credit one and Barcly, wait a year, and I finally got a discover and nfcu with 5k cl.

So should she garden after those 2 3k limit cards from cap? I was hoping to get her a navy fed avct too.

She's going to want a min of 3 cards anyways, and I'd rather personally have my cards maturing at the same time. In my experience navy fed could care less about number of pulls, they hard pull you for literally everything even if you are apping for multiple products at the same time.

If it were me I'd go for nfcu now & let the cards mature together. I'd app for the cc & ploc/cloc at the same time, then garden awhile. Inquiries dont mean alot to me while rebuilding imo.

I tried to get her signed online to nfcu....but system seemed bugged...we need to go into office.

Discover wanted her to call...to get more info from her.

I guess she will try this today.

Which two CCs from Cap1 did she get?

If you dont mind the pulls in 3 months, you can request a manual cli after the 3rd statement for each card, and then get the auto cli's after the 6th statements.

Tyvm for this info, we will put debit cards away, and only be using these two cap cards along with my discover and navy sig visa. I feel bad for Barclay...they gave me auto cli from 500-1500 after 6 months, and now I'm going to use these newer cards with higher limits.

Cap one does not do hard pulls for online CLI requests.

Grats! I love how Cap1 is friendly to us after BK. Keep an eye out on the preapproval page. My wife and I were both able to get approved for Venture cards 6mos post discharge. Keep up the good work!

What do you mean by stay loyal?

Use cap one for as much as you can charge. Pay weekly. You CL will grow as will your benefits. They track usage.
