Nice turn of events.

I've spent the last ten months rebuilding. For the most part, I've been pretty negative about the entire process, to the point that I basically left it alone and said the hell with it. I won't do anything to harm it, but I'm not going to check it obsessively like I had been.

Must've been a good plan.

For ABSOLUTELY NO REASON WHATSOEVER, my experian, tu and equifax went up 42/34/28 points respectively, putting the first two right near the mid 600s.

Maybe if I adopt this "don't give a **bleep**" attitude for another six months, I'll be in the 700s.

*that part was clearly sarcasm* but it is nice every once in a while to get a random increase instead of the random decreases.

Unexpected increases are nice surprises. Sometimes you do need to take a breather from it. :-)

On the contrary - there is most certainly a reason, its just that the reason is not part of MyFICO's programming. The reason is aging of current accounts and derogs.

I knew someone would say this.

I suppose it could be true, but nothing of the sort hit any kind of "milestone." I'm not going to argue with it though, I just don't expect it to last.

As someone who hates the phrase "LoL" I just legitimately laughed out loud when I read this.
