I did have 4 Capital One accounts reporting from a Chapter 13 Bankruptcy from 2010. They all had wrong information at various times and I have been slowly getting my credit reports to show the correct information. I disputed all of them. I got lucky and 2 of them have been deleted from my report even though it was about a year early as far as I can tell.

The remaining 2 Capital One accounts have wrong information. I filed my Chapter 13 in February 2010 and completed my case and was discharged in August of this year. Capital One did get paid some of what I owed them. I am not sure of the exact amount . They have these 2 accounts reporting as being included in bankruptcy. Since this is correct I have no problem with that. Here is what is on my Equifax report for dates opened etc.

Account #1 Date opened 8/1/05, Date Reported 9/1/15, Last Payment 6/15 which is correct. First Delinquency 10/09, Date of 1st Major Delinquency 8/20/15.

Account #2 Date opened 9/1/08, Date Reported 9/1/15, Date of Last Payment 6/20/15 again this is correct, Date of First Delinquency 2009, Date of 1st Major Delinquency 8/20/15.

This makes it look like I have recent delinquencies. I have disputed these twice already. The latest reply from Equifax was that the date of last activty was reported as correct by Capital One. I filed these disputes on-line. I have in the past faxed and or mailed copies of my bankruptcy schedules as well as the discharge papers to Equifax. How do I proceed from here? If they don't fix this will these accounts drop off in early 2017 once I hit the 7 year mark. Will it be 7 years from the 1st Major Delinquency?

This is so frustrating makes you want to scream or say hello to Ben and Jerry.

I have gotten back in Capital One's good graces with another chance so I do not want to aggrevate them but want this fixed.

One of my denial letters said I had account with too new delinquency or something like that. The only things on my credit report are the bankruptcy accounts which so $0 balances and my new credit. The new creditors are being paid on time usually early. I thought it was the Capital One accounts that made them say that. They fall fall off soon enough anyway so I will just be patient and have to wait. Thanks for answering.
